Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe

Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale National Park
Journey to the Primate Capital of East Africa

- Enjoy the scenic drive through Uganda's lush countryside, passing tea plantations and rolling hills.
Afternoon:
- Stop for lunch en route at a local restaurant (included).
- Continue the journey, arriving at your lodge near Kibale in the late afternoon.
- Check in and relax.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking – Kibale National Park
Come Face-to-Face with Our Closest Relatives

- 6:30 AM – Early breakfast.
- 7:30 AM – Transfer to Kibale's park headquarters for a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.
- 8:00 AM – Begin your chimpanzee tracking adventure.
- Kibale's lush rainforest is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees—one of the highest densities in Africa.
- Listen to their haunting pant-hoot calls echo through the canopy.
- Watch them swing from branch to branch, feed on fruits, and interact with one another.
- Spend one magical hour observing these fascinating primates.
Afternoon:
- Return to the lodge for lunch.
- Optional Activity: Community walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary (extra cost)—a fantastic opportunity to spot monkeys, birds, and learn about local conservation efforts.

Day 4: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

- Check out and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- En route, stop at the Equator for photos and a water demonstration—watch water spin in different directions!
Afternoon:
- Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- Check into your lodge and enjoy lunch.
- Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the Kasenyi Plains—one of the best areas for wildlife viewing in the park.
- Look for elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and the elusive leopard.
Evening:
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth – Game Drive & Boat Safari
A Full Day of Wildlife Encounters
Morning:
- 6:30 AM – Wake up and early breakfast.
- 7:00 AM – Morning Game Drive in the Kasenyi Plains.
- Search for predators in action—lions, leopards, and hyenas.
- Spot elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and a variety of antelopes.
- Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions of the Ishasha sector (southern Queen Elizabeth).
Afternoon:
- Return to the lodge for lunch.
- 2:00 PM – Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel—a 2-hour cruise through one of Africa's most water-rich areas.
- Get within meters of hippos, crocodiles, and elephants cooling off at the water's edge.
- Watch the magnificent birdlife—African fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans, and more.
Evening:
- Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi – Gorilla Trekking Prep
Scenic Transfer to the Heart of Gorilla Country

- Check out and depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- Enjoy the breathtaking drive through the Ishasha sector—spot tree-climbing lions along the way (seasonal).
Afternoon:
- Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi.
- Check in and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
- Gorilla Trekking Briefing: Your guide will brief you about tomorrow's gorilla trek—what to expect, what to pack, and how to prepare.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The Ultimate Wildlife Encounter
Early Morning:

- Your ranger guides assign you to a gorilla family based on fitness levels.
- Trackers left at dawn to locate the gorillas.
Morning:
- Begin your gorilla trek through Bwindi's ancient rainforest—estimated to be over 25,000 years old.
- Duration: 30 minutes to 8 hours (depending on gorilla movement).
- The terrain is challenging—steep slopes, thick vegetation, muddy trails—but every step is worth it.
- When you find the gorilla family, you'll spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat.
- Watch the silverback lead his family, mothers gently hold their babies, and juveniles play in the vegetation.
Afternoon:
- Return to the trailhead and meet your guide.
- Return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
- Optional Activity: Batwa cultural experience (extra cost)—learn about the indigenous Batwa people and their traditional forest life.

- Continue the journey, arriving in Entebbe in the late afternoon.
